Stichting KOMO was founded in 1963 and is the expert organization in the Netherlands in independently certified products and processes. Its mission is to make the complex construction process more clear. The construction and installation sector is a complex combination of different parties. With the KOMO mark, professional stakeholders in the Netherlands can trust in quality of products, processes, systems, services and management systems. Products and the final results of processes with a KOMO approval mark automatically comply with the relevant laws and regulations in the Netherlands, such as the Building Decree, the Soil Quality Decision, and other requirements in terms of quality and safety.
